Hello, I'm Rosann Cunningham.

Have you ever felt like life was going along just smoothly until you hit the big 4-0?

When I turned 40, my life changed.

No. More accurately, my health changed. Chronic stress, aging, poor eating habits, not enough sleep, and years of hormonal birth control use caught up with me.

I had been healthy my entire life, but all of a sudden at the beginning of my 4th decade, I was hit hard with thyroid problems, adrenal fatigue, perimenopause, and all of the horrible, countless symptoms that come along for the ride when you have an imbalance in your endocrine system.

Since then, I’ve taken quite the journey to successfully restore my health, and I’ve learned so much along the way. I definitely had to be my own health advocate, but I was also blessed to have good friends by my side, a supportive family doctor who, more or less, let me tell him what I needed, and a few other key people in the natural health field helping me dig deep to treat the root cause of my health issues.

When I saw and felt the power of whole food nutrition, regular exercise, and improved lifestyle working in my own body, I developed a new sense of purpose and passion. I wanted to learn more. I wanted to help others going through the same awful health challenges I had gone through.

So I enrolled for study with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I was taught by some of the world’s leading experts in health and nutrition – Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Frank Lipman, Dr. Lissa Rankin, Dr. Walter Willett, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, and Dr. Barry Sears, to name a few.

Around the same time, I decided it would be good to enhance my knowledge in helping women to use nutrition, fitness and lifestyle to improve their health and to lose weight the healthy and sustainable way!  So I got myself certified with National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Fitness Trainer.  (I'm also trained in Krav Maga - an Israeli self-defense fighting style - MMA Conditioning, Group Fitness, Kickboxing, Hormone Health, Gut Health, and more!)

Then, I launched Fit for Life Body – my nutrition and fitness coaching business, and have since helped hundreds of women meet their weight loss goals, improve their health, eliminate or reduce their symptoms, get off medications, and make big, bold changes in their life and their confidence in an effort to start living the life they’ve always dreamed of.

Every day I thank the good Lord above for this amazing opportunity and journey of being able to change lives for the better.  It is truly my heart's greatest passion and purpose!

And, FUN FACT some people don't know about me:  I'm also a Licensed Independent Health Insurance Broker, specializing in Medicare.  In fact, I partner with my Dad in our veteran/family owned insurance agency, Lewis Family Agency.

In my spare time...

When I'm not busy helping my clients become total badass babes, I can be found hanging out with my daughters, Faith (18) and Abby (15), and our sweet 5-year-old golden retriever fur baby, Kaia Bear.  Probably my greatest adventure is spending time with  Steve, my best friend and the absolute love of my life!  He's a mechanical engineer and volunteer firefighter and is really into healthy living and fitness, too!  We love to travel, spend time at the rifle or pistol range shooting, or take our Jeeps to cool Jeep events around the nation.  We even started a YouTube channel called Life, Liberty and Adventures.  You should check it out!
